The exciting program will feature the hallmarks of Greek music,
poetry, and folk dance. Its musical program, led by conductor, Dr. Tikey
Zes, and designed by musical director, George Liviakis, will survey the
evolution of Greek ecclesiastical, folk, and popular music from
Byzantine to modern times.
Featuring Byzantine hymns, cantades, rembetika and popular music,
this program's rich and unique repertoire differs from those of the
concerts given in 1998 and in 2000. This is an event not to be missed!
